Over two dozen reports of thunderstorm wind damage or high wind gusts have been received by the National Weather Service in the western Carolinas and far southern Virginia so far Wednesday. Most of those are for downed trees or power lines, some on houses.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - The severe weather threat has ended for the Big Bend and South Georgia, but a Wind Advisory will continue. After showers and storms to kick off your Wednesday, the forecast is turning drier for the rest of the day. Highs top out in the mid-and-upper-70s under a mix of Sun and clouds.

The threat of severe storms has come to an end. The tornado watch previously in effect will be allowed to expire as the threat of severe storms and isolated tornadoes pushes out to sea and into eastern North Carolina.
