University of Tennessee baseball coach Tony Vitello is set to become the new manager for the Giants, the school confirmed Wednesday.

“Giants WR Malik Nabers had his ACL surgery today. On the road to recovery,” reported Art Stapleton of USA Today on X, formerly Twitter.

On Friday, the Giants bolstered their catching depth ahead of 2026, re-signing Logan Porter to a minor league contract.

Tennessee coach Tony Vitello, who has spent his entire career in college, led the Volunteers to a College World Series title last year.
