LSU football opt-outs: Who’s out for Texas Bowl vs Baylor, Dave Aranda
LT Will Campbell: Shortly after the end of the 2024 regular season, Campbell announced his decision to forego his final year of eligibility and enter the 2025 NFL Draft. Campbell has also decided to opt out of playing in the Texas Bowl to prepare for the upcoming draft process.
LSU football to face former defensive coordinator in bowl game
LSU will see an old friend on the opposite sideline — former LSU defensive coordinator Dave Aranda. Aranda spent four years at LSU, coordinating some of the best defenses in the country. In 2016, Aranda’s first year with the Tigers, LSU ranked fifth nationally in scoring defense. LSU ranked in the top 15 again in 2017.
