Aaron Rodgers will remain the New York Jets' starting quarterback despite speculation the team could bench him, interim coach Jeff Ulbrich said.

The Jets announced on Monday that they have signed Nwangwu to their active roster. Nwangwu was a Vikings third-round pick in 2021 and he returned three kickoffs for touchdowns in his first two seasons. The Vikings waived him this summer and he signed to the Jets’ practice squad in September.

Kene Nwangwu got the Jets and their fans out of their seats against the Seahawks. In the second quarter, Nwangwu put the Jets up 21-7 thanks to an electric play: A 99-yard kickoff return for a touchdown.
