Matthew Stafford missing the start of training camp due to a back injury came with the side effect of reuniting Jimmy Garoppolo and Davante Adams with the Rams' first-team offense.

One young receiver has stood out to Adams during his first week in camp: Seventh-round rookie Konata Mumpfied. Adams told reporters at training camp over the weekend that he feels like "a proud dad watching him out there" because of how Mumpfied continues to learn and grow his game in such a short amount of time.
