A man has died following an incident in Gortnamucklagh Dunmanway, Co. Cork . The incident occurred at Gortnamuckla, outside Dunmanway town at approximately 6.35pm. Gardaí assisted emergency services at the scene, where a man in his 60s was pronounced deceased at the scene a short time later.

Gardai are investigating the cause of a fire at a Cork apartment where a man was found dead. The man, aged in his 60s, was found dead inside the property on Togher Road on Friday evening after firefighters brought the blaze under control.
