With the 2025 WNBA All-Star over, teams are now preparing for the second half of the season. One of the best games coming out of the break will be between the Indiana Fever and New York Liberty. Both teams met last week, with New York winning handily 98-77.
NEW YORK — Emma Meesseman, the 2019 WNBA Finals MVP who last played in the league in 2022, is joining the New York Liberty, a person familiar with the decision told The Associated Press on Monday.
Breanna Stewart had 24 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists to help the New York Liberty to a 98-77 win Wednesday night over the Indiana Fever, who played without star guard Caitlin Clark.
With a right groin injury forcing the Fever to navigate without Caitlin Clark, Breanna Stewart ensured the Liberty capitalized on her absence.
After the game, Clark was seen smiling and hanging out with some members of the Liberty outside the locker room. Liberty coach Sandy Brondello and Stewart seemed to be having a light-hearted conversation with Clark, along with what appeared to be her agent, Erin Kane.

New York Liberty forward Breanna Stewart ended the first half of her season by teasing her newest signature shoe.
