Texas Parks and Wildlife recently relocated 77 desert bighorn sheep to Franklin Mountains State Park in El Paso, in an effort to reintroduce the species to part of its native range.

In December, officials released 77 big horn sheep into the franklin mountains as part of restoration efforts. Officials say that over 80% of those sheep were pregnant upon release.
