The British government has announced its support of London’s bid to host the 2029 athletics world championships.

The championships were last held in London in 2017 — five years after the Olympics and Paralympics came to the capital.

If either Jacob Wilson or Nick Kurtz wins Rookie of the Year, it will be great for the Athletics. But if Wilson does, it will be even better.
