DE PERE - Some Wisconsin district attorneys and sheriffs put their support behind state Supreme Court candidate and Waukesha County Judge Brad Schimel in Tuesday afternoon, citing Schimel's record as a prosecutor and state attorney general.

A vast majority of Wisconsin voters have not heard of either candidate in the state’s Supreme Court race, but among those who have, they view the conservative candidate more favorably. A poll from Marquette University Law School found that conservative Waukesha County Judge Brad Schimel,
