Joining many other retailers and businesses, Walmart will be closed on Thanksgiving Day in 2025. According to a Walmart spokesperson, stores will close at 11 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 26 and won’t reopen again until Friday, Nov. 28 at 6 a.m. local time.

While banks and post offices will be closed on the holiday, some grocery, retail and restaurant chains will remain open on Thanksgiving, albeit mostly with adjusted hours. If you need to make a last-minute run to the grocery store to pick up something for your holiday gathering,
