For two consecutive weekends this month, artists and makers from across the area have opened up the spaces where they create their work, in what will be around a 3,000 square-mile showcase of talent.

Weeton-based artist David Beresford will open his back garden studio to visitors as part of North Yorkshire Open Studios, a major event featuring more than 200 artists across two weekends.

Textile artist, Fiona Robertson, recently won a public vote at the North Yorkshire Open Studios Spring Showcase.
