Ho-Chunk Nation will open its first independently owned and operated movie theater Friday, bringing a state-of-the-art cinematic experience to the Tomah community.

The eight-screen complex at the Wellington Marketplace shopping center closed in January after years of entertaining residents of the western suburbs.
