On a night in which the Knicks were looking for revenge from a Friday thumping, the Bulls were willing participants, ignoring some of the details that helped them start the year 5-0. The result was the first loss of the season.

The Bulls have started this season with a 5-0 record, something the team hasn't done since the 1996-97 season when Michael Jordan and the Bulls went on to win the NBA Finals. The Bulls started that season with a 12-game winning streak and finished the regular season with a record of 69-13.

The Bulls and Knicks are meeting for the first of three regular-season matchups after facing each other in the NBA Cup on Friday. Chicago took the series last year, 2-1, and is looking to win in back-to-back seasons for the first time since 2011-12 and 2012-13.
