On the flipside, Auburn's offense gained 241 yards, 123 through the air and 118 yards on the ground. Quarterback Ashton Daniels passed for 108 yards and threw an interception to end the game. Jackson Arnold played two drives in the 4th quarter, where he completed 2-of-3 passes for 15 yards.

After Auburn lost 10-3 to a Kentucky team that was on a 10-game SEC losing streak, it was obvious head coach Hugh Freeze’s time with the Tigers was over.

"I wish I could ask for patience, but that's not really something people want to give in this day and time, but I understand that," Freeze said after the game in his plea to fans.
