A modular home that got stuck in a construction zone on I-77 near Canton Wednesday is on its way to its destination Thursday morning.

Abandoned shopping carts are becoming so much of a nuisance in some parts of Canton that City Council has passed a law to try to address the problem.

Work was underway Tuesday at a duplex on the northeast corner of Harrison Avenue NW and 32nd Street NW in Canton. The area was affected by sinking ground due to an abandoned coal mine.
