Warner Bros. Discovery premium streaming service Max is set to launch in Turkey on April 15 in a key transition under which Turkish streamer BluTV is being rebranded and will morph into Max. The new Turkish streamer will leverage BluTV's local standing and combine it with a richer content lineup combining global hits from HBO

Turkey becomes the 77th Max territory and "marks a significant moment in the globalization of WBD’s streaming service," the company said, reiterating that it will increase its investment in local productions.

Warner Bros Discovery is shutting down three of its videogame development studios in a move aimed at boosting profitability for its gaming division amid a sluggish recovery in the market, a spokesperson for the company's games unit said on Tuesday.
