Searching for salvation far away from NHL arenas, Tristan Jarry’s phone never stopped ringing. The calls were coming from inside his old house. Now he’s back, looking quite at home, and those calls — check-ins from Pittsburgh Penguins teammates — were as beneficial as any goaltending drill or mental exercise he undertook during a couple of months in the AHL.
The win was Jarry’s third in a row since being recalled from the Penguins’ American Hockey League affiliate in Wilkes-Barre.
