Former Boston College quarterback Thomas Castellanos has committed to Florida State, where he will reunite with incoming offensive coordinator Gus Malzahn, his former coach at UCF.

As it stands, Castellanos — a Georgia native — would appear the front-runner for the 2025 starting job. Redshirt freshman Brock Glenn (five starts in 2024) and freshman Trever Jackson (former four-star recruit) remain on the roster. The ‘Noles also added four-star prospect Kevin Sperry on national signing day.

The dual-threat signal-caller, who was benched by coach Bill O'Brien back in November, announced he has committed to play next fall for the Seminoles.
