Switch 2 owners will soon have another big Nintendo game to play. During its latest Direct presentation, the company showed off plenty more of Donkey Kong Bananza, a 3D platformer that launches as a Switch 2 exclusive on July 17th — and it’s looking like a surprisingly robust experience.

Nintendo has revealed amiibo functionality in the upcoming Donkey Kong Bananza, including an all-new Donkey Kong & Pauline figure that's coming out alongside the game on 17th July.

Nintendo will stream a Donkey Kong Bananza Direct presentation on Wednesday, June 18, starting at 6 a.m. PDT / 9 a.m. EDT / 2 p.m. BST. On the Nintendo Today app, it was confirmed that the newest Nintendo Direct showcase will present “roughly 15 minutes of information about the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 game.
