American ski racer Mikaela Shiffrin crashed after catching an edge in her second run of a World Cup giant slalom race Saturday.

Shiffrin, World Cup skiing's all-time wins leader, was in first place after the first run but ended the second in a ski patrol sled. Her condition and status for Sunday's slalom were unknown.
