After nearly three decades drumming for the rock supergroup, Matt Cameron is leaving Pearl Jam. Cameron, 62, announced the decision with a post to Instagram July 7, thanking his fellow bandmates and fans for "the opportunity of a lifetime" and teasing what comes next.

Matt Cameron has left Pearl Jam after 27 years, calling it 'an incredible journey.' He will be inducted into the Rock Hall of Fame with Soundgarden later this year.
