Indivisible Knox and other community members gathered at Henley Street Bridge today to protest against efforts made by the Trump Administration.
A couple hundred protestors gathered by the Houston Galleria on Labor Day to protest the current federal administration and strengthen community, but a heightened police presence did not go unnoticed.
Tonight's discussion, titled "Know Your Rights, Organizing for Clean Air and Water," will begin with a plant-based (no meat, dairy, honey or gelatin) potluck dinner at 6 p.m., followed by a discussion at 7 p.m.
Dozens of people came together in Memorial Park at the "Workers Over Billionaires" rally and march. Despite rainy weather earlier in the day, people showed up to voice their frustrations with the government. Those in attendance hope events like this put pressure on politicians and lead to change.
