A Stellantis representative has responded to Car and Driver's request for comment on Tim Kuniskis's return to the company. They said in an email, "Tim is back effective Monday [Dec. 9]. We made a few other organizational moves on Monday.

Kuniskis copped to the fact that “...it’s all light duty dragging us down,” admitting that the company has been experiencing severe production delays in getting the next Ram LD to market. The newly minted CEO also expressed frustration of a personal nature, confiding “I don’t even have my RHO yet.”

The popular executive retired in the spring. Now he's back leading the truck brand during a period of upheaval for the automaker.
