James Harden ’s Thirteen, an upscale restaurant in Houston, has reportedly closed due to a debt of more than $2 million. As reported by Chron ’s Michael Shapiro on Wednesday, the restaurant, which first opened its doors in 2021, has had its locks changed because of what a note on its door says is “non-payment of rent.”

The NBA star's fine-dining restaurant had a sign on the door Wednesday evening that said it owed more than $2.2 million in missed rent and other payments.

Thirteen, the Midtown restaurant owned by former Houston Rockets star James Harden, is currently locked and closed due to $2.2 million in "delinquent rents and other amounts due to the lease," per a notice posted on the restaurant's door.
