Indigo reportedly refuted the claims of an AirHelp survey, which alleged that the airline came among the worst on the basis of certain parameters including punctuality.

IndiGo has been ranked among the world's worst airlines this year. The AirHelp Score report 2024 has placed the Indian airline near the bottom at 103rd out of 109 analysed. The report also ranks Air India at 61st and AirAsia at 94th. Brussels Airlines, Qatar Airways and United Airlines occupy the top three spots.

AirHelp releases an annual ranking of international airlines and airports. The rankings for airlines are based on three criteria — on-time performance, customer opinion, and processing of compensation claims.

In a recent response to a global airline ranking survey by AirHelp, which placed IndiGo among the worst airlines in the world, the largest domestic carrier has strongly rejected the findings, questioning the credibility and methodology of the rankings.

IndiGo was ranked 103rd among 109 global airlines in a survey by a European Union claims processing agency. The air carrier refuted the report and questioned its credibility.

In a statement, IndiGo said it has consistently scored high on punctuality and has the lowest customer complaint ratio for an airline of its size and scale of operations
