Ham salad brands recalled for possible listeria contamination
Some brands of ham salad products has been recalled for a possible listeria risk. The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service stated Monday that the products contain breadcrumbs that have been recalled by Newly Weds Foods from concerns of listeria.
Listeria is able to survive refrigerator temperatures and can infect individuals after eating contaminated food, officials warn.
