Highs today in the mid to upper 70s. A strong cold front will bring gusty winds, widespread beneficial rain, and a threat for an isolated thunderstorm mid to late morning and midday.

Showers, thunderstorms and gusty winds are expected Wednesday, making it a First Alert Weather Day, according to the FOX19 NOW Weather Team.The rain and thunderstorms will move in Tuesday after 8 p.m.

The First Alert 6 Weather Day continues this morning as light falling snow quickly moves east but blowing snow will continue due to the incredibly strong wind that will be persistent. Thankfully the wind gusts will gradually back off into the afternoon and the sun will emerge this afternoon but blowing snow could easily be an issue most of the day.
