Part of Route 1A South reopened on Tuesday after a bus crash on Monday morning brought down two transformers and three light poles, with two people hurt and hospitalized.

Route 1A in East Boston fully reopened Tuesday afternoon, around 30 hours after a charter bus transporting workers to Logan Airport toppled multiple utility poles on Monday morning.

Live wires were strewn across the highway following the early morning crash, forcing the shutdown of traffic in both directions for much of the day.
