'Right now, there's no recourse': Some NYS corrections officers being fired for continuing to strike
The New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision (DOCCS) reported that officers who have participated in the strike for more than 11 consecutive shifts received termination notices on March 2.

The New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision (DOCCS) sent a letter to striking corrections officers that they will be terminated. DOCCS said the letter was sent to staff who have missed 11 consecutives shifts or more.
