On Wednesday afternoon, Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football was the first to report that the Saints have agreed to a trade to acquire wide receiver Devaughn Vele from the Denver Broncos.

The Denver Broncos’ general manager announced on Wednesday that they have traded the team’s wide receiver Devaughn Vele to the New Orleans Saints.

Vele ranked second among Denver's receivers in receptions (41) last fall and third in receiving yards (475) and touchdowns (three).
