Having Tucker DeVries play well will also be a key to Indiana finishing out the year strong, but he and Wilkerson are gone next year no matter what. Dorn is somebody you can build and recruit around, a modern wing with size and shooting ability to space out the floor for players around him.
With sixth-year senior guard Tayton Conerway battling an ankle injury, Dorn started his first game as a Hoosier on Friday against Rutgers. He took full advantage of his opportunity, scoring 23 points and knocking down six 3-pointers in the Hoosiers’ 82-59 win over the Scarlet Knights inside Jersey Mike’s Arena in Piscataway, New Jersey.

MORGANTOWN, West Virginia — Turmoil around the Indiana Hoosiers has intensified following reports that head coach Darian DeVries received a menacing message from the father of The post Report: Former WVU Head Coach Darian DeVries Receives Allegedly Threatening Message From Player’s Father After Loss appeared first on The Voice Of Motown.
Indiana snapped a four-game losing streak with an impressive 82-59 victory at Rutgers on Friday night. The Hoosiers had three players score over 20 points in a Big Ten game for the first time in eight years.
The Cream and Crimson accomplished both of those feats. Having Tucker DeVries as a threat adds another caliber to the Hoosiers’ offense. Keeping him aggressive and a part of the scoring can hopefully become a constant as the Hoosiers continue into conference play.
Tucker DeVries has found himself in an extended shooting slump through Big Ten play after a great start to the season, and it continued vs Iowa.
Tucker DeVries scored 22 points and added 10 rebounds and six assists and Lamar Wilkerson added 27 points to help Indiana beat Rutgers 82-59 in New Jersey.
