Jones, 38, beat the pop star-turned-priest Reverend Richard Coles and TV personality Coleen “Wagatha Christie” Rooney to win I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! after a public vote on Sunday night (8 December).

Danny Jones's McFly bandmates took to social media to celebrate his win during the final of I'm A Celebrity... Tom Fletcher posted a video of himself and his wife Giovanna Fletcher cheering as Ant and Dec revealed who had won the competition out of Danny and Coleen Rooney.

His reunion with his wife Georgia and their six-year-old son Cooper was one of the most moving moments of the entire series as he sobbed in their arms. And the scene clearly struck a chord with viewers as they voted in their millions to make him King of the Jungle on Sunday night.

Tom Fletcher, Danny’s fellow judge on The Voice, took to Instagram on Monday to point out Danny’s insane 2024 winning streak. In this year alone, he arose victorious as Piranha on The Masked Singer, won with Ava Mannings on The Voice, and is now the king of the jungle in I’m A Celeb. He’s got a lot to live up to in 2025!

Back in 2011, McFly bassist Dougie Poynter won I'm A Celebrity, with The Only Way is Essex star Mark Wright being the runner up. And, of course, lead vocalist Tom Fletcher's wife, Giovanni Fletcher, won the show.

Danny Jones was crowned King of the Jungle on Sunday night. The McFly star made it to the grand final of the ITV1 jungle reality show alongside Coleen Rooney. The boyband frontman will have to return his floral crown and wooden sceptre. He was awarded both during the finale, before heading back to the UK.
