The Cincinnati Bengals have announced a new starter at quarterback for Week 6 of the NFL season, with the Joe Flacco era in Cincy set to begin. As per Albert Breer, Bengals head coach Zac Taylor has named Flacco as the starting QB for Sunday’s contest against the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field.

The Cincinnati Bengals will start quarterback Joe Flacco against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday in Green Bay, Wis., coach Zac Taylor announced Wednesday.

Returning from their bye week with only one loss this season, the Packers received an unexpected surprise from their guests arriving in Green Bay on Sunday.

Cincinnati Bengals’ first round pick Shemar Stewart was back at practice Wednesday as the team prepares to play the Green Bay Packers.

The only people happy with the Cincinnati Bengals ' performance in Week 5 were Ja'Marr Chase fantasy owners, as he scored two touchdowns in what was effectively garbage time. Other than that, it's rough times in Cincinnati as the team fell to 2-3 after a 2-0 start following their loss to the Detroit Lions.

First-round pick Shemar Stewart (ankle) and guard Lucas Patrick (calf) could be available for the Bengals' trip to Green Bay.
