Dallas-Fort Worth is expecting cold temperatures and snow ahead of the Cotton Bowl game between Texas and Ohio State at AT&T Stadium Friday.

The Cotton Bowl semifinal is set to be played as scheduled in North Texas on Friday, Jan. 10 despite severe inclement weather expected in the region. Weather forecasts project that the area could receive more than 4 inches of snow only days before the game.

With just 36 hours to go before winter weather arrives and another day before Cotton Bowl fans descend on AT&T Stadium, the city of Arlington brine trucks prepped bridges in the entertainment district.
