During the two week period where the Indianapolis Colts had benched Anthony Richardson, fellow quarterback Sam Ehlinger played a pivotal role in Richardson's growth during that time as the backup. In a recent article by The Athletic's Jim Trotter,

Bill Barnwell of ESPN recently highlighted one particular area where Colts’ QB Anthony Richardson has significantly improved since returning as the starter.

What I have seen out of Anthony (Richardson) is a nice, calm, steady demeanor in really big moments, which is a good trait to have,” Cooter said.
