The 2025 College Baseball World Series rolled along on Monday with a pair of Bracket 2 games in Omaha. In the opening matchup, Arkansas defeated Murray State 3-0 in an elimination game behind a no-hitter by Gage Wood to keep its title hopes intact.

Wood had 19 strikeouts to complete just the third no-hitter in MCWS history and end the Racers' Cinderella run.

College World Series continued on Monday in Omaha, Nebraska, though it was ultimately cut short due to inclement weather. In the first game of the day,

Arkansas’ Gage Wood set the CWS record for strikeouts in a nine-inning game and never let Murray State come close to getting a hit in the Razorbacks’ 3-0 victory.
